Read 20 Pages a Day
30 days · Productivity
Twenty pages a day - roughly two books a month, 24 a year.
Twenty pages is 20-30 minutes of reading, yet it compounds to about two books a month. This challenge turns "I should read more" into a box you either checked or didn't. Fiction, non-fiction, anything with pages counts.
The rules
- Read at least 20 physical-equivalent pages daily.
- Audiobooks count at ~30 minutes = 20 pages, if you must.
- Doomscrolling does not count, obviously.
Tips from people who finished
- First 20 pages of the day before first social-media open. Order matters.
- Always know your *next* book before finishing the current one - the gap kills streaks.
- Boring book? Quit it. The challenge is reading daily, not finishing bad books.
Track it properly
The difference between "trying" this challenge and finishing it is usually a visible calendar. Create yours and you get:
- A 30-day calendar you tick off daily - with streaks and completion stats computed live.
- Achievement badges (day 1, 7-day streak, halfway, finisher…).
- A share link so a friend can watch and keep you honest - see the accountability playbook.
- A printable version for the fridge.
