10,000 Steps a Day
30 days · Fitness
Hit 10,000 steps every day for a month.
No gym, no equipment, no learning curve - just walk. 10,000 steps is roughly 8 kilometres of daily movement, and hitting it for 30 straight days quietly rebuilds your energy, sleep and mood. Your phone already counts the steps; this calendar makes them a streak.
The rules
- Reach 10,000 steps before midnight, every day.
- All steps count - commutes, errands, pacing on phone calls.
- Check the day off only when the counter says so.
Tips from people who finished
- A 20-minute walk after each meal gets you ~7,000 steps before you've tried.
- Evening deficit? A brisk 30-minute loop is ~3,500 steps.
- Rainy-day plan: podcasts + laps of the house/mall. Decide it in advance.
Track it properly
The difference between "trying" this challenge and finishing it is usually a visible calendar. Create yours and you get:
- A 30-day calendar you tick off daily - with streaks and completion stats computed live.
- Achievement badges (day 1, 7-day streak, halfway, finisher…).
- A share link so a friend can watch and keep you honest - see the accountability playbook.
- A printable version for the fridge.
